About the Program
RogueADU is a program of Sunstone Housing Collaborative that brings Ashland-specific ADU information into one clear pathway. Homeowners can review local rules, explore the City's pre-approved plans, estimate costs and financing, compare potential rents, find local professional resources, and check whether their property may fit public-program priorities.
The program was launched in August 2026 with a $75,000 Non-Compete grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Thriving Communities Grantmaking Program, administered in the Northwest by Philanthropy Northwest, and with support from the City of Ashland Affordable Housing Trust Fund. Grant support is focused on community education, technical assistance, program design, and the groundwork for an ADU infill pilot—not direct construction funding for every homeowner.
